"Innovating Health Solutions for All"
Access to healthcare remains a challenge for many. The Global Health Impact Initiative tackles this by educating communities, partnering with specialists, and raising awareness on mental health, chronic diseases, and public health emergencies. Your support can make a difference in health equity.
Ghana faces a dual burden of communicable and non-communicable diseases (NCDs), compounded by inadequate health infrastructure and limited access to specialist care. There is a pressing need for sinnovative health programs to address gaps in service delivery and public health education.
Why is it crucial to address?
NCDs such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and cancers caused 43% of deaths in Ghana in 2021.
Malaria remains a significant challenge, with 5.3 million cases annually.
Rural areas suffer from a 50% lower availability of doctors per capita compared to urban centers.
Only 2% of Ghana’s health budget is allocated to mental health, despite 13% of the population experiencing mental health disorders.
