Where Your Donation Goes
At GRACE (Global Resilience Alliance for Community Emergencies), we are committed to transparency and accountability in how we manage the donations we receive. We understand the importance of ensuring that your generous contributions have a meaningful impact on the communities we serve. Here’s how your donation is utilized:
80% of Your Donation Goes Directly to Our Projects
We allocate the majority of your donation - 80% - directly to funding our key initiatives, programs, and services. These include:
Emergency Relief Efforts:
Donations support disaster response efforts, providing immediate relief to those affected by natural and artificial disasters. This includes food, shelter, medical supplies, and other essential resources.
Public Health Education & Advocacy:
We invest in health education campaigns to prevent diseases, raise awareness about health risks, and provide crucial resources to underserved communities. Your support helps fund vaccination programs, health workshops, and mental health initiatives.
Infrastructure Development:
Contributions also go toward building and maintaining critical infrastructure in underserved communities. This includes roads, safe paths, drainage systems, and emergency shelters—ensuring that affected areas have the physical infrastructure needed to recover and thrive.
Environmental Conservation Programs:
Donations fund reforestation projects, sustainable mining practices, and environmental education to protect Ghana’s natural resources. This is a vital part of our mission to combat environmental degradation and create sustainable communities.
Community Empowerment:
GRACE works to strengthen communities by providing vocational training, supporting local entrepreneurship, and helping individuals develop skills that lead to self-sufficiency and resilience. Your donations enable us to provide resources for capacity-building programs, including job creation and educational initiatives.
Health & Wellbeing Programs:
We work with local health providers to offer vital medical care, mental health support, and education. Funds also support initiatives that address critical health issues, including maternal and child health, nutrition, and sanitation.
20% of Your Donation Supports Our Operational Costs
While the majority of your donation directly supports our projects, a maximum of 20% is allocated to operational expenses. This includes:
Staff Salaries & Training:
GRACE’s team is dedicated to ensuring that all projects are efficiently run. We invest in the professional development of our staff and volunteers, ensuring that they have the expertise to implement our initiatives successfully.
Monitoring & Evaluation:
A portion of your donation helps us track the progress of our programs and measure the impact of our work. This includes evaluating the effectiveness of our programs, ensuring that we are meeting our objectives, and making necessary adjustments to maximize our impact.
Administrative Costs:
This includes office supplies, communications, and other administrative needs that allow us to coordinate our work effectively. We aim to keep these costs as low as possible to ensure that most of your contribution directly benefits our initiatives.
Why Your Donation Matters
Your contribution is a powerful tool for change. With your support, we can continue to provide essential services, raise awareness about pressing issues, and drive sustainable solutions that will benefit communities in need. By keeping administrative costs low and allocating most of your donation to our projects, we ensure that your generosity has the greatest possible impact.
Thank you for partnering with GRACE to create a better, more resilient world. Together, we can make a difference.
“Join us in making a lasting impact. Your donation helps us save lives, rebuild communities, and create sustainable futures. Together, we can make change happen.”
